Reena: eto o may missed call!
Marie: hindi ako tumawag. Baka may naki tawag habang nasa c.r. ako.
Reena: ano ba number mo? 5366?
Marie: hindi. 4768.
Reena: e sino yun?

EDR's Tacos and Braso de Mercedes

EDR is the best place to eat when it's raining..and it's been raining nonstop all week. So once again, lunch is at the EDR. It's Karen, Triccie and me. Reena's been raving about the Tacos so Karen and I decided to share since there are two big tacos in one order. It was really good! Lotsa flavor and really cheezy. The salsa complemented perfectly.


For dessert I had Braso de Mercedes and its was so yummy...very soft and not too sweet. Perfect!

15Aug07 - was raining cats & dogs, so edr was the best choice. kar & mawee split the tacos, while i had korean beef bulgogi w/ kimchee. kimchee toooooo spicy for me, bulgogi was so-so, could hv been better if piping hot, could it be the cold weather? - mine got sebo too quickly

10Aug07 - figaro favs, jas had a choco/oatmeal, while i had vanilla pudding with butterscotch sauce - on barako coffee. they ddnt hv stock of barako gold for 2wks already =;( pudding was sweet enough that sugar not needed in coffee

Gourmet Food?

I've been bitten by the gourmet bug lately (thanks to Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen and the movie Ratatoulie) so when we had lunch at the EDR last August 8, I decided look for something gourmet-sounding from the menu. This is what I ended up ordering... Pork tenderloin stuffed with camembert cheese and asparagus served with mixed vegetables and roasted baby potato drizzled with black truffle sauce. Does that sound gourmet to you?
